1. Overview
When you sign in to the manager panel, the Dashboard is your home page.
- It starts empty (no forced KPI grid for every role).
- You always see a welcome area and your account menu.
- Data widgets are optional — you add only what you need.
- Widgets show live summaries, not full reports. Detailed reports are under Reporting.
2. Opening the dashboard
The dashboard is usually the first page after login (navigation sort: home).
If you have permission to customize, you will see a Customize dashboard (or similar) action on the page.
3. Customize your dashboard
You need the Customize dashboard layout permission (your administrator assigns it on your role).
Steps
- Open the Dashboard.
- Click Customize dashboard (header action).
- In the modal, add rows to the list:
- Widget — choose from Inventory, Production, or Financial groups.
- Width — Half (one column) or Full (two columns on the grid).
- Drag rows to reorder.
- Save.
To remove all widgets, clear every row and save, or use the flow your administrator documents.
Empty dashboard
If you have not added widgets, you see an empty-state message — that is normal. Add widgets when you are ready.
4. Available widgets
You only see widgets in the picker if your role has the matching widget permission. Below is what each tile is for.
Inventory

| Inventory stock snapshot | Stock by category and unit; top valuable items |
| Low stock alerts | Items at or below minimum quantity by warehouse |

Production

Financial and reports

These may require See financial amounts permission to show amounts. Full statements and exports are under Reporting, not on the dashboard.
5. Why a widget might be missing
| Situation | Reason |
|---|---|
| Not in the customize list | Your role lacks permission for that specific widget |
| On layout but blank / hidden | Module turned off for your shop, or your role cannot view it |
| Amounts show as zero or hidden | You lack See financial amounts for financial or valuation figures |
| Cannot open customize | You lack Customize dashboard layout permission |
Ask your administrator to adjust Roles → Widgets and Custom permissions → Dashboard.
6. Floor operators
If your account has only the operator role, you are redirected automatically to Production → Operator workstation instead of the KPI dashboard. Operators do not customize a home grid.
